Fineline black and gray requires smaller, finer pins, special machine tuning and specialized inks to create the softer grayshade. I am a detail freak, and this is the combination of design elements and equipment I have found that works for me.More Information
My approach to black and gray is to heal to a soft pencil-like shade as opposed to a darker graduation preferred by many other artists.
As a pencil sketcher since birth, I appreciate the softer, subtler approach which features a lot more fine detail and intricate design work.
